01 - Squeeze fresh lemons to extract approximately 1 cup of juice, removing any seeds.
02 - In a large pitcher, combine lemon juice with sugar. Stir thoroughly until sugar completely dissolves.
03 - Pour cold water into the pitcher and stir well to incorporate all ingredients.
04 - Add ice cubes to the pitcher. Taste and adjust sweetness by adding more sugar or diluting with additional water if needed.
05 - Pour into glasses and garnish with lemon rounds and fresh mint leaves if desired.
